Whisperer

The Wine’s Story

Kakhuri Mtsvane is a native Georgian white grape variety. Despite its name ("mtsvane" means "green"), it produces wines with golden to amber hues when fermented with skin contact on a high elevation.

Whisperer is known for its rich texture, floral and stone fruit aromas, and notes of apricot, dried herbs, and honey. In qvevri, it develops tannic structure, a medium body, and a slightly spicy, long finish.

The wine is called Whisperer because winemaker Akaki loves to talk to his wines during the fermentation process.

The grapes are hand-picked and fermented with skin contact in traditional qvevri.
