The Wine’s Story
The winemaker’s name is Irakli Minadze. The Minadze family has been making wine for centuries. Irakli’s grandfather was the first to bring a European grape crusher to Georgia, and the label is an homage to that original crusher.
Irakli is a new-generation winemaker, following in his grandfather’s footsteps while developing his own winemaking style.
Soliko is made with 15% skin contact in qvevri, followed by two weeks of fermentation and two months of aging off the skins.
The light amber wine offers citrus and fruity aromas, with well-balanced acidity.
*Naturally made wine with minimal sulfites
