The Wine’s Story

Created by the young son of a winemaking family to suit his own taste, diverging from the traditional way of making Rkatsiteli.

Rancho is a lighter wine with low acidity and moderate tannins, enjoyable on its own or paired with lighter foods. Crisp notes of green apple and fresh herbs lead to a chalky minerality and a slight bitterness on the finish.

The winery is located near the family ranch at a high elevation in the Kakhetian mountains — hence the name Rancho.

Fermented in stainless steel tanks, with short maceration and hand-harvested grapes.
